Application Engineer - Solid State Technologies - SAN - NAS
Location: Minneapolis, MN or Minnetonka, MN
Salary Range: 90,000 - 140,000

Are you a Senior Product Engineer looking to work for a leader in the storage manufacturing space? If so, read on!

What you need to apply:

• 5+ years of solid state technologies and applications
• 5+ years Server, SAN and NAS architectures (SAS, FC and SATA interfaces is highly desirable)
• Application performance modeling as it relates to disk IO activities
• HDD (or other hi-tech devices) development and OEM qualification processes, from concept to production
• Experience defining product specifications and negotiating with engineering and customers
• HDD debugging

What you will be doing:

• Work side by side with the Market Development Product Manager
• Provide expertise on customer engineering capabilities, systems, technical requirements and configuration requirements
• Documenting market requirements
• Identifying gaps between the market requirement and resultant design requirement
